On another weekend at my mums, I have just read (well, not all of it - just dipped in and out) a very interesting book called To Have or to Be?,
by Eric Fromm. In it he talks about that theory that in modern life we
value ourselves by what we have (cars, houses, money, wife, children), rather than what we are (experiences).
