Peep Show
If you've never heard of Peep Show - perhaps because you're not from the UK - which isn't really your fault, then I'm here to help you out.
You really should buy it. It's one of the funniest things on UK TV.
Channel 4 rocks. If I ever live abroad, I have to be able to watch it. Anyway....
IMDB
"Peep Show features the often sexually frustrated lives of two twenty-somethings, Mark Corrigan and Jeremy Usbourne - former university companions (they sometimes refer to themselves as 'The El Dude Brothers' in reference to their student days) who now share a flat in Croydon, south London.
Mark is a loan manager and the more financially successful of the two but is extremely uncomfortable socially and pessimistic about nearly everything. Jeremy - who had recently split up with his girlfriend 'Big Suze' - found himself homeless until a chance meeting with Mark, who agreed to let him rent his spare room.
Jeremy usually has a much more optimistic and energetic outlook on the world, yet his 'talent' as a musician is yet to be recognised, and he is not as socially popular or sexually attractive as he would like to think."
It's in a similarly cringe-inducing vein as "The Office".
It's won awards, and stuff. I'm sure it's on Mininova too, but you should really buy it.
Thanks to Nikolayivich for putting me onto it.
PS. Green Wing, and Black Books are also pretty good.
